I wanted to write to say how amazing your coat was for my very sick collie cross. Eddie developed congestive heart failure at the young age of 8 years old after being bitten by an adder whilst on holiday in Cornwall. He loves the beach and the sea and so we desperately wanted to take him for his final beach holiday, so we could create our last happy memories with our beautiful, gentle boy. However, 2014 was such a hot summer, it seemed cruel to put him through it as his health was deteriorating rapidly. However, I then discovered this web site and ordered him a Cool Coat and Cool Blanket. We went to Cornwall, to his favourite beach, and had 10 amazing days there. He started the week very poorly, but picked up massively during the holiday, so much so that we even talked about taking him again later in the summer. He had an amazing time with my husband and I and our two daughters, it was hard to even believe he was dying, he looked wonderful and even broke into a gentle trot to chase his ball in the waves. We returned from holiday on 20 July and Eddie passed away 5 days later at home leaving us with an incredible heart ache and some very happy memories. We have today returned from our holiday and I would just like to thank you for the 1st class service we received from Keep Cool. Penny looked a great 10 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in her little yellow coat and quite a few doggie people asked us about it. The weather was hot and so without the coat Penny would not have been a "cool dog". The cool coat worked marvellously, in fact it stayed wet longer than her previous coat and she did seem very happy in it. Penny does move fast at the best of times, but I can honestly say without the coat she would not have been able to go out every day on our Excursions. Your company went above and beyond the call of duty, it was 100% service. The customer service both over the telephone ordering, ensuring that we received the coat before we left for our holiday and general help was fautless. Every aspect has been made a simple task. You may have seen on the news about the high temperatures in Spain at the moment. We recently decided to head for Portugal to escape the heat. We have a small camper and set off for the ten hour road journey. The air conditioning packed up, probably due to over use and the temperature inside reached 42 degrees! It would have been impossible to continue with our rescue dog in that heat, but thanks to her cool coat she wasn't even panting. Thanks so much! K Kay

Thank you so much for my recent purchases of your KeepCool Mat and Pain Relief Belt. I have a 12 year old Labrador who is diabetic and also has cancer; this means his body temperature runs a little hotter than the norm. I cannot tell you what a source of relief the KeepCool Mat has been during this spell of hot weather. I am so grateful that I can be confident that it works for 4 hours at a time; as I had to leave my dog shut up in a secure but warm house today while I went to work. It was clearly put to good use in my absence! The most amazing thing is that it is also completely washable, which is great when you have a dog laying on it for hours. The pictures below show a very happy and gratefully relieved Harry enjoying his mat. An ailing gentleman of distinguished years; who had been previously really quite miserable and lacklustre in this recent spell of hot weather, in particular at night when the doors and windows have to be closed. Now I hope you can see that he has his energy and mischievous mojo back and is so much more comfortable now he has somewhere to go and 'chill out' for a bit. Now we both can get a pleasant nights sleep and I have the peace of mind that he can go and get comfortable when he feels he needs to, without me hearing him panting like crazy and having to come downstairs to damp him down with wet towels in the night. I myself have 3 herniated discs in my lower back and right leg sciatica, which occurred during an accident in 2007, so I maintain and have tried a vast quantity and variety of pain relief over the years. I am always very happy to find an alternative relief, away from the pharmaceuticals. I have used ice packs in short bursts in the past to provide relief; but I must tell you that the KeepCool Pain Relief Belt has provided sustained relief overnight that I am able to sleep for a decent and continued period of time. I wanted to drop you a line to say how wonderful the dog coat I ordered is. As you may recall I have a black Labrador, Labradors are notorious for feeling the heat because of their double coat. I have used the coat twice now at two dog shows and she has then kept it on in the car – when I have taken the coat off , her coat has been totally cold. It has also been washed after each use and comes out of the machine like new.

Although the initial outlay is quite a lot, I have to say it is worth every penny knowing that I am able to keep my puppy cool and comfortable in temperatures of 28 degrees plus! Kind regards. M Hunt

I just had to write to say the KeepCool Coat has been brilliant. Extremely effective. I bought it mainly as we were due to tour France in our motorhome in May/June and Bens comfort concerning the heat was the deciding factor for how far south we travelled. I mostly used the coat whilst we travelled in our motorhome, which doesn't have air conditioning He wears a car safety harness and lies on his bed which is on my knee (life of Reilly, I know!) and with the sun coming through the windscreen it can get hot so he would normally have to go on the floor (not impressed!). Wearing the KeepCool Coat he has stayed on my knee the whole time and hasn't even panted. He was so comfortable he would just go to sleep for the journeys. We ended up going right down to the South of France on the med. There were a couple of days when we were uncomfortably hot ourselves while we sat outside the motorhome. Checking to see if Ben was OK I found he was as "cool as a cucumber" and not even panting. I think the next purchase will be the mat as I can place that on his big comfy bed so he will be able to lie on that too without feeling the heat from it. So, many thanks for a great product. After hearing about these wonderful coats through friends on facebook we were delighted to see that that you had a stall at Crufts! We found you by chance wandering through the maze of stands and were so happy! KeepCool had so much time for us, letting the boys (Yoda and Vader) try on various sizes for the best fit and showing us their own beautiful Frenchie in a coat. They had a lot of good advice about how the sizes would suit the boys and we couldn't wait to place an order!

Being a flat faced breed, French bulldogs can overheat easily and on walk number one with Yoda in his new coat, absolutely no panting! A very good investment for the summer shows. We are absolutely delighted that these coats even fit our three legged rescue, Vader, who had his front right leg amputated before he came to us, and even more pleased that they do not slide from side to side on him when he walks as some garments do.

The boys love to wear them and never fuss when we put them on, as we walk you can see they do not struggle with the heat and a collar can go over the neck of the coat to keep them extra cool.

We have ordered a second coat which should be arriving soon so that they have one each, Lots of love from Caroline, Yoda and Vader xxx

I bought one of your coats for my Long Haired Rottweiler, Ralfie. He didn't get much use out of it last summer but this year we took his coat on holiday with him to Wales. We had 3 days of blisteringly, glorious weather before the heavens opened up and the rain set in. Ralfie got plenty of wear out his coat over those 3 days. It kept him cool and active enough to enjoy his holiday. We walked him across the estuary bridge to Barmouth on a hot day. When we reached Barmouth Ralfie remembered the cliff-top walk we'd done on a previous holiday and took off up the steep steps without a moment's hesitation! While we were dragging our heat exhausted bodies up the cliff path Ralfie was bouncing about without a care in the world. His coat got plenty of attention. Ralfie's coat makes a huge difference to his exercise capabilities in warm weather. Although he looks at me as much as to say, 'Oh mum, are do I really have to wear that in public?' whenever he sees me approaching him with his coat, there is no doubt that the benefits he gains from it far outweigh any minor embarrassment he may feel. This is Ruby in her new Cool Coat I ordered it Thursday and it arrived Saturday it is excellent and does what it says on the bag.
